Day 1 – Yangon

Arrival at Yangon international airport. Our guide will welcome you at the airport. Then transfer to the hotel and check in the hotel. After hotel check in, we will serve you lunch with Myanmar traditional dishes at a very delicious Myanmar food restaurant. After lunch, we will drive you to Dela jetty which is situated on the western bank of the Rangoon river.You will visit it by transhaw .Town's economy lives on fishing and some trades. On the way, we will let you walk in the colonial quarter from down town Sulepagoda to admire the remaining majestic colonial buildings such as city hall, supreme court, post office and old banks. When you arrive at the jetty, you wil be transferred by a local ferry ship to cross the Rangoon river. During the boat trip, you will see Yangon busy ship yard and you will have a close contact with local people on ferry boat as well. Upon arrival at Dela, your visit will be by local trishaw to see around in the town and visit some interesting places for 2 hours such as fisher men ward, candles makers and local market and drinking water lake After the visit, back to Yangon and visit Shwedagon pagoda, the most wonderful stupa in Myanmar at sunset time exploring rituals and splendors of the holy energies of the Pagoda .Then dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 – Yangon - Pyay

Breakfast and check out the hotel. Then we will drive you to Pyay, 300 km far from Yangon and 6 hours’ drive. Lunchwill be on the way and you will arrive at Pyay in the late evening. Just before your arrival to Pyay, we will take you to a small town in the suburb area of Pyay to visit ShweMyatMhan Buddha which is the only Buddha with glasses in Myanmar and visit some weaving looms in its surrounding. After the visit, proceed to Pyay. When arrive at Pyay, check in the hotel. Then Dinner with traditional dishes at the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Pyay -Srikestra (Pyu ancient City, UNESCO world heritage)

Breakfast and start the visit with the local market. Thenwe will drive you to the ancient Pyu City site (Srikerstra). Srikestra was the capital of the extinct Pyu people and it was founded between 7 and 9 centuries and its monuments are older than those of Bagan.The time to drive from Pyay to Srikestra archeological site is around one hour. You will visit archeological museum, Srikestra city wall, Baw BawGyipagoda, Yahandakan lake, lay MyetHnartemple. royal family cemetery and PhayaMa pagoda. AfterSrikestraarcheological site visit, back to Pyay and lunch at local restaurant. Afterlunch, you will visit Shwesandaw Pagoda which is the most important pagoda in Pyay situated on a small hill at sunset time to enjoy the city view and sunset. Aftersunset. we will take you to evening market nearby. Walk in the market for a while. After market, back to hotel. Dinner with traditional restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 – Pyay – Bagan (By road – 340 km)

Breakfast and check out the hotel. We will drive you to Bagan, the most famous archeological site with over 3000 monuments. Driving time is 8 hours for 367 km. There will be no visit on the way. You will see many villages, fields of peanuts and sesames and rural life with bullock carts. Lunch is on the way at a local restaurant.After long drive, you will arrive at hotel of Bagan in evening and check in the hotel. Dinner at reputed restaurant and overnight at Bagan.

Day 5 – Bagan (Free Day)

No visit for today. If you want to visit Bagan and want to see temples. you can ask your guide to organize your visit or ask to your hotel to have a transport and map for touring around Bagan. No meals and no transports for today. Enjoy your free day and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 –Bagan – Pakokku -Monywa (150 km /4-hourdrive)

Breakfast and check out the hotel. After hotel check out, we will drive you to Bagan jetty to take local boat to go up to Pakokku town. Boat time is around 3 hours. During boat drive, you will enjoy the beauty of river Ayeyarwady and fresh air. When you arrive at Pakokku, one of the big commercial cities in the region and bustling with local trades. You will have an interesting visit to famous slippers factory, its cheroots rollers and Pakhan old teak wood Monastery (an archeological heritage). Lunch at local restaurant inPakokku. Afterlunch,proceed to Monywa for 3 hours of drive. On the way. we will stop at Ma U a lae village where you can see the incense sticks production and a cluster of old temples. During the drive, you will see “Thanakha tree “plantation (Burmese use paste of Thanakha tree bark as a bio- cosmetic to protect against sun). Arrive at Monywa in the evening and check in the hotel and overnight at the hotel. Before dinner you can walk in the city. Dinner at the hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 – Monywa

After breakfast,we will drive you to the jetty to take local ferry to cross Chin Dwin river, second important river in the central Myanmar. Boat time is around 10 minutes. After boat, you will have local taxi to go to Phoe Win hill which is an archeological site of old troglodytes carved in the rock. There are over 1000 troglodytes which were carved in 15 centuries enshrining over 4000 Buddha statues and mural paintings. When you arrive at the hill, you will walk along the troglodytes and visit one or two with beautiful paintings. You will see some monkeys there. After the visit, back to Monywa. Lunch at local restaurant at Monywa.
After lunch, you will continue to see a wonderful temple “Thanboddhae“built during the second war world with over 500,000 Buddha representations, Bodhithahtaung with thousands buddha, the highest standing buddha. Then back to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at Monywa.

Day 8 –Monywa – Phyin U lwin (118 km / 5hours drive)

Breakfast and hotel check out. Then we will drive you to Pyin U Lwin ,118 km and 5 hours’ drive,Pywin U Lwin also called May Myo is a scenic hill station at an attitude of 1070 m. When you arrive at Pyin U Lwin, you will visit Pwekauk Water fall and market before lunch. After lunch, you will walk around in famous colonial quarter with a Victorian style horse cart to see colonial buildings which were built during British time such as church, administration office, hotels and governor residence of colonial time. After the horse cart ride, we will take you to Kandawgyi botanical garden. This garden was built since British time and it is now the biggest botanical garden in Myanmar. You walk around in the garden and you can see butterfly’s museum and orchid garden. After garden, proceed to hotel and check in. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.

Day 9 – Pyin U lwin -Hsibaw (141 km / 5 hours train / 1 hour drive )

Early breakfast and check out the hotel. Then you are transferred to train station to take train for Hsibaw. Train will arrive at around 8:00 am. During the train travel towards Hsibaw, you will enjoy the scenic landscape. fields, mountains and villages. Around noon, train will pass on the Viaduct “Goteik “which was built during British time and it is the highest bridge in Myanmar with 250 of height and 687 m of length crossing over a mountain valley. Enjoy the exciting moment on the bridge and after one hour from the bridge, you get out the train at Naung Cho station to join our car. After it, you proceed to Hsibaw and lunch on the way at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue to drive to Hsibaw for 2 hours. When you arrive at Hsibaw, visit Market, Bowcho pagoda and little Bagan where there are some old temples and monasteries. After the visit, back to hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day -10 Soft trek in the shan villages and Boat trip on the Myintnge river

After breakfast , our trekking guide will pick you up at the hotel to do a walk in Shan villages in the morning and to take a boat trip on the river in the afternoon .During your walk , you will visit traditional noodle maker , villages passing fields and mountains and you will have lunch at the village restaurant .After lunch , you head to river and take the boat to stream up to the confluence .After river boat trip , back to Hsibaw and visit Hawnan (Shan Last royal family palace ).Then back to hotel .Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Tomorrow, you are going to trek and overnight at a village. Prepare a pack for trek.

Day 11 – Hsibaw - Mandalay(210 km / 5 hoursdrive )

After breakfast, you check out the hotel. Then we drive you to Mandalay from Hsibaw, 210 km and 5 hours drive. On the way, you will pass again Pyin U lwin where you will visit Paik Chin MyaungWater Fall and cave. Lunch at Pyin U Lwin and proceed to Mandalay. Upon arrival at Mandalay, Check in the hotel, Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 12 – Mandalay -Departure

Breakfast and hotel check out. Then you are transferred to Mandalay international airport. On the way, you will visit the Mahagandayone Buddhist school with over 1000 monks to observe Myanmar Monastic life and Buddhist monk hood. After monastery visit, continue to the international airport for the return. We wish you a smooth travel to your home and we do thank you for using our service.
