Monywa is situated 136 km from the Mandalay and about 150 km from Bagan. The important trade Center between India and Mandalay.It is situated on the bank of the Chindwin river and it is also river port city . As a big town, it has around 300,000 population and university and important monasteries and some pagodas as other city does. The interesting places of the city are not its trade,so not city pagodas, but the amazing pagodas in its surrounding. Moreover,29 km to the west of Monywa ,the Phoewin hill with the troglodytes enshrining over 4000 Buddha states is also an interesting place to discover nearby Monywa.Moreover .there are some interests to discover in Monywa and in its surrounding such as village life, the vermicelli production . Thus, it is the second priority to step into after the first destination in Miramar to explore and it will be amazing.
