Mingun is a village situated on the western bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river, on the opposite site of Mandalay.Although it is a small village ,it has many wonders of Myanmar .It was the birth place of the most intelligent monk who has beaten the world Guinee’s world records as the record holder in the memory class in 1985 .It is also famous for the grandiose unfinished pagoda “ Phahtodawgyi “ and the biggest standing bronze bell of Myanmar" Mingun Bell " .For these wonders,it become one of the pilgrimage sites in Myanmar and always busy and touristic .The ambiance also embraces the quietness and suppleness for the rural village life and a pleasant place to wonder.
