Terms & Conditions

Our Terms and Conditions

Bom Bax Travels and Tours is an incorporated company under laws of Myanmar government. We accept your booking under the following terms and conditions.

Booking

Payment and Acceptance

  • Upon booking, a non-refundable down-payment (minimum 30% of the total cost) will be charged. As soon as we have received your down-payment, we will start planning your tour. We will only operate the tour when we have received your payment in full ultimately 14 days prior to the departure date. All tours are subject to availability. Bookings made via Bom Bax Travels and Tours own websites are considered as made with us directly.
  • In the total quotation, the deposit is included. When you make the full payment, we will deduct the deposit charge from the total quotation. We accept major credit cards, personal checks, and bank transfers. When you choose to pay by credit card, you will be charged in US Dollar (US$). We’re not responsible for any extra financial charges related to making a payment
  • We will send you the formal confirmation letter after we have received your payment or deposit. It is your responsibility to check the accuracy of your booking and travel dates.

Cancellation

  • Looking to cancel a booking? Please send a written confirmation request to [email protected]. The date on which we receive your cancellation request is taken as the cancellation date. Based on the cancellation date and the departure date, cancellation charges apply.

  • Once the tour has started, no refund will be made under any circumstances for any unused sectors or sections.
  • If the reason for cancellation is covered by your insurance policy, you may be able to make a claim under that policy. Please make a claim with your insurance company directly.
  • If you wish to change to an alternative departure date, this must be done with a minimum of 7 days’ notice. One change of date is allowed free of charge. Any subsequent changes will be subject to a US$ 50 administration fee.

 

Complaints and claims

  • Should you feel unsatisfied with any service we have provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel adviser, as your feedback helps us improve our service. In the event of the complaint or claim for compensation, you must inform Bom Bax Travel and Tours by email or regular mail. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. Bom Bax Travel and Tours will not be liable for any claims made later than 15 calendars days after the completion of your tour.

 Communications

  • For inquiries, contact Bom Bax Travel and Tours via [email protected] . Did you make a booking or did you send a cancellation request or a change request, but did you not receive any reply within 24 hours? Please contact us via our emergency hotline at +95 09 43208476.

Unfavorable/Critical conditions

Under no circumstances can Bom Bax Travel and Tours be held responsible for any delays caused by untimely flights, general strikes, political unrest, new government regulations, weather or natural casualties or unpredictable environmental calamities, or anything else beyond our control. In such unfortunate cases, we shall provide suitable alternatives, which could be decided upon mutual agreement. If an agreement cannot be made, we shall be responsible only for refund after deducting expenses already incurred.

Discounting
When you take our service for the group of more than 16 people, one person is complimentary. When you use our service for three times, we do some free service charges to our fourth time sales to you.
