Day 2 – Yangon - Bago - Taungoo by car ( 231 km – 6 hours drive )

Breakfast and check out the hotel. Then we will drive you to Taungoo ( 231 km – 6 hours drive ) to visit one of timber elephants’ camps of Bago mountain ranges and to observe their daily life. On the way, we will stop at a world cemetery, pottery village, a village to see dry fishes production .Then stop at Bago city as well .Bago is last capital city of Mon kingdom with some famous pilgrimage sites. In Bago, you will see Shwe Tharhlaung pagoda (the 55 m long reclining Buddha) ,Kyaikpon pagoda ( four giant sitting Buddha statues), Shwemawdaw pagoda, the tallest pagoda of Myanmar. After them, lunch at a local restaurant on the way and proceed to Taungoo .Arrive at Taungoo in the evening .Check in the hotel. No visit. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 – Taungoo tains – Elephant Camp Visit

After very early breakfast around 5 : 00 am and hotel check out .Then we will take you by local vehicle to Bago Yoma where there are timber elephant camps. It will take around one hour .Upon arrival at the camps , you will meet first mahouts. Mahouts will explain you about their camp and the routine of their elephants. Then you start to follow the elephants. Mahouts wash elephants before they have them work in the forest. After the bath, they will go to work in the jungle .You will walk around on the elephants before they start to work .After ride , you watch them working .It is so fascinating to see them working in the deep jungle in reality. Elephants work till 11:00 am, and then they are free to walk around to have their lunch in the forest .You go back to Mahout home and have homemade lunch at their home. After lunch, proceed to Bagan by car. The time to drive is around 7 hours. No visit on the way and then you relax .Upon arrival at Bagan , Dinner and overnight at the hotel .

Day 3 – Taungoo - Yangon

After breakfast, we will show you Bagan archeological site and city .Visit will start with local market and then you will continue to see Shwezigone pagoda, the holiest pagoda, Gyupuaukgyi, the mural painting temple and Htilominlo Temple. After morning visit, lunch at a famous restaurant. After lunch, you continue to see the other interesting things and places in Bagan such as the Lacquer wares workshop, Ananda temple, the master piece in temple architecture, Dhammayangyi temple, the biggest one in Bagan and Thatbinnyu Temple. After the pagodas visit, you will have a horse cart ride for one hour to explore the beauty of Bagan archeological site dotted with thousands of pagodas in different sizes. Terminate your visit at the sunset point to enjoy last sun rays falling over fabulous Bagan’s monuments. After sunset, dinner at the famous restaurant with Myanmar traditional puppet show and overnight at the hotel.
