Day 1 – Arrival at Yangon
Arrival at Yangon International Airport .You are warmly welcomed by local our local smiling guide with your name .Then you will be brought to Yangon Down town. First hotel check in will be up to arrival time at the airport .Normally, rooms are ready to occupy after 12 pm. Firstly, Check- in the hotel to refresh yourself after the long trip of flight .Then start the visit.
Yangon is the ancient capital of Myanmar from 1885 till 2010 when government officially inaugurated Nay Pyi Taw as a capital .Regarding to history, Yangon used to be a small fishing village of Mons and annexed by the Myanmar King in 1775 and was named as Yangon meaning ‘The end of wars “ .In 1885, British government established their British Government capital in Yangon and it became Capital of Myanmar.
Actually it is bustling city with high density of population (5 million people) and always active. Yangon China colonial Town with majestic British Government administrative building still stands for the grandeur of Colonial Time.
Start the visit with colonial town first. Starting from “ Maha Bandula “park which is situated at the center of Yangon Down Town , you walk in the city passing through the Yangon City hall ,High court , Banks , Myanmar Port Authority , the First five star Strand hotel ,till the Post Office .That walk allow you to be in touch with local people and admire the impressive colonial buildings in different architecture.
Then, you rejoin your private car to proceed to China Town. Chinese quarters are situated side by side with the Indians quarters. It is also interesting to discover Myanmar Chinese culture in that quarter .Visit Chinese Buddhist Temple, walk up to busy market area.
Then you continue to visit the Scott Market which is the biggest handy craft market in Myanmar and the best place to shop.
After market, lunch at local restaurant and head to Reclining Buddha called Chauk Htet Gyi . Then terminate your visit at the majestic and holiest Shwe Dagon Pagoda being considered as the most beautiful stupa in the world at sunset time exploring the Myanmar Buddhist rituals around the Pagoda .Night at Hotel.
Day 2 – Yangon – Golden Rock
Golden Rock is situated in the Mon State and is about over 200 km from Yangon .Driving time is about 6 hours.
Golden Rock locally called “Kyaink Hti Yoe ‘is the highest pilgrimage site in Myanmar holding Buddha scared hair in its stupa dome. Wonderfully the Buddha ‘hairs holding stupa suspends on the edge of the cliff of the mountain top for over thousands years without falling down into the valley and any weather condition could not fall it down due to the Buddha ‘hairs holiness .
Travel to Golden Rock is long way rout trip for 6 hours to get to the base camp of the Mountain .Hotel is on the hill and it is amust to take the local truck car together with local people to go up the nearest camp to the pagoda .there is no place to carry heavy languages in there public truck .Thus ,it is a must to do small pack to sleep for one night in the hotel .
After your breakfast, you check out the hotel and head to the Golden rock. On the way you can enjoy the scenery of paddy fields and water melons and villages.
Lunch on the way and ypu arrive at the base camp at aobut 3 pm in the aftrenoom .Since there you leave the your car from Yangon and take the bus to go up .Ascending time is approximately 45 minutes .Then , Check in the hotel and visit the Gorlden Rock till sunset time . After sun set, come back to your hotel and over night at the hotel.
Day 3 – Golden Rock –Yangon
After breakfast ,you checkout the hotel .Then take the ust to go down to the base camp to join your car .Then you come back to Yangon .On the bway back ,you stop at Bago City , old capital of Mon State , to visit famous Pagodas ; Shwe Maw Daw ,Kyaik Pon Four Buddhas , Shwe Thar Hlaung reclining Buddha ,and ancient palace . After visit ,you proceed to Yangon .Then ,you can visit the Pottery village if you are interested in . You arrive late to the hotel in Yangon and over night at the hotel.
Day 4 – Yangon – Pindaya
Today,you are going to Pindaya city in Shan State from Yangon by morning flight .Your flight will land on the Heho airport ,Airport city of Shan State . Flight time is about one hour. You are welcome by the Inle Gude and car at the airport. Then you proceed to Pindaya city .
Pindaya is the one of the big city in Shan State .It is the capital of Danu Tribe who are one the minor tribe living in Shan State with their own culture and speak their own dialect .Linguistically ,theya are identified as Subgroup of Myanmar family .City is very beautiful with Legendary lake called Po Ta lote .The way to Pindaya is hilly and covered with colorful plantations of crops .color of soil is originally red and when it is combined with the colorful crops such as golden color, red color of chillies, yellow and white colors of colza and Mustard make the land a beautiful picture . On the way you can see the tea leave plantation and one of the main regions of green tea leaf and stop for the photos shoots and see the village Of Danu people.
Once arrive at Pindaya, have lunch at the Green tea restaurant by the lake The visit the traditional Umbrella factory .You will see the Giant Banyan three on the way .After that ,you
Once, you arrive at Pindaya , have lunch at most famous green tea restaurant and then visit Shwe U Min Cave . Up to the legend, The Name of the Pindaya city comes from ‘Pinguya meaning ‘Prince Got the Spider .Legend says that Giant Spider blocked the princesses in the cave to kill and price arrived on time and saved the princess Now ,that cavee is called “Shwe U min ‘ and become the holiest place in the City with over 8000 Buddha statues .
After pagoda visit, install at the hotel and over night at hotel.
Day -5 Pindaya –Inle
After the Breakfast ,you check out the hotel .Then head to Inle lake by private car .Approximant driving time is one and half hour .
Inle Lake is the second biggest lake in Myanmar the biggest lake Inn daw gyi in Kachin State in the northern part of Myanmar. It is very well known not only to Myanmar but also to the world as the lake with unique way of life living on the water. People called Inthas have settled in the villages built on the long stilts since many centuries years ago living on the flotting agriculture on the man-made Islands, a kind of grass rafts.
Villages are at the center of the lake, Hence one hour in local boat to acess to villages of Iake . Then continue to explore villages and start the visit with jumping cats monastery surrounded by flotting Tomatoe garden in the Nga Phe Chaung village, the tomatos cultivation on the water by boat and see the village “ Kay Lar “ and people way of life on the water .
Then visit , Phaung Taw U pagoda built by king Alaung Si Thu and its holy five Buddhas of this world curved in the scented wood .This pagoda is one of the high pilgrimage sites in Myanmar and its festival is held annually in October .
In late afternoon , visit the very famous silk and lotus flower fabric weaving family , traditional Cheroot manufacturer , local boat carpenter , silver smith work shop and Karen family know as Long neck Karen women . Back to hotel and over night at the hotel.
Day 6-Inle –Indain -Bagan
After your breakfast, you check out the hotel to do some visit in Inle before heading to Airport to take flight for Baan in the evening. First visit the morning five day market and then proceed to Indain Pagoda.
In dain Pagoda is situated by the Pa O villages called Indain on the hill top of the western bank of Inle Lake .It is historically built by the King ASOKA ,Indian emperor of 4 centaury ,and renovated frequently by successive Bagan Kings and Shan Kings .Trip to the pagoda site is very enjoyable boating on the small ,narrow stream flowing down from the pagoda into the lake .Some part of the boat trip along on the stream passing over the bamboo dams to control the water flow into the lake make the boast trip more fascinating .The combination of the bamboo forest environment with Pa O people in their traditional costume around the pagoda and ancient pagodas site with over 1000 ruined pagodas reflects real authenticity of nature and unspoiled culture.
Start your visit with the local five day Market of Inle lake to see real unchanged typical way of life of mountain people and see their goods and local products .Then you head to Indain pagoda and visit the Pagoda site.
Luch at local restaurnant .After lunch ,you head forward to the jetty to join you rcar to go to airport . You take domestic flight for 35 minutes .then you arrive at Bagan airport. You are welcome by Bagan local guide and car .Then you are brough to your hotel and over night at the hotel in Bagan.
Day 7 – Bagan
( Hot Air balloon Ride is available in Bagan at sun rise time .The price is USD between 3 10 and 415 USD per person ,One month reservation is recommended )
After your breakfast, you start the visit with the local market.Bagan is the most beautiful archeological site in Myanmar with over 3000 temples .It was the capital of first Myanmar Dynasty and one of the biggest archeological site in Asia .Even though it is so famous with high rooted history and highly touristic city, it is actually a small country town with small number of population and less traffic than Yangon.
After the Market, you are headed to the holiest Shwezi Gone Pagoda with Buddha Tooth relic of 11 century.
Then, lunch Break at local restaurant.
After lunch, visit the Lacquer ware lacal factory.
Then see the other prominent pagodas in Bagan such as Htilomin lo Temple which is known for its beautiful stucco carving and smartest two floored temple building , Ananda temple which is the master piece in temple architecture , Dhammyan Gyi Temple ,the biggest temple in Bagan with the Pyramidal shape and a small Gyu Pyauk Gyi temple with ancient mural painting . After that, you take a local horse cart ride among the temple to explore the beauty of sites dotted with temples in different sizes . Then you enjoy the sun set time on the sun set boat on the Ayerwadday river .There you can enjoy the beauty and cold breeze passing through the fresh river seeing setting sun behind the western mountain ranges on the western bank of river and the landscape of Bagan over the eastern horizon .After sun set , you are back to hotel and Over night at hotel.
Day 8 – Bagan –Mandalay
Leave from the hotel in 5 am in the early morning to get on the day cruise from Bagan to Mandalay. Embark on the cruise and enjoy the warm sunlight and gentle breeze on the upper deck. Upstream from Bagan to Mandalay. Delicious Myanmar cuisine will await you for lunch as you will have a relaxing time sunbathing on the sun deck. The crew team will demonstrate different ways of wearing Myanmar Traditional Longyi (a garment worn by Myanmar people) and Thanatkha (a fragrant paste made from the bark of Thanatkha tree). Enjoy the gorgeous sunset moment with sunset cocktail and arrive at your destination. You will be on the cruse till 4 pm in the evening.
When you arrive at Mandalay port , you are picked up by the Local gudie and Car .then head to Hotel directly and over night at hotel.
Day 9 – Mandalay
Mandalay is the capital of Last Myanmar Dynastery before the British colonial period .The second largest city in Myanmar with one million populations. It is situated at the center of Myanmar and main commercial point in the central Myanmar. Founded by King Mindon , there are some traditional handicrafts still remaining in Mandalay and is standing the most cultural heart of Myanmar .
After Breakfast ,start the visit with Mahamuni Buddha, the holiest Buddha Face in Myanmar and well coated with devotees’ gold leaves whole body and Gold leaves work shop to see how thin gold leaf sued to coat the Pagoda of Myanmar to golden them is made .Mandalay is the only main city for that kind of production .
After visit ,you head to Amarapura to assit the monastic school ‘ students monks ‘lunch time procession to enter to dinner hall and visit the monastery . After that , visit Amarpura famous silk weaving looms and you can shop our silk wares there .Then you head dto Sagain hill ,Buddhist center and home of the monasterie and nunneries .Visit the Swan U Pone NyaShin Pagoda on the top of the hail enjoyin gth view over the hill ,Sagaing city ,Aywerwaddy River and its environs .
Then ,lunch at Sagaing .After lunch ,you head to Innwa ,small Isalnd which was once the capital of Myanamar .Now there are some part of abandoned City wall and very old and majestic teck wood monastery “Bagaya “ .You cross the small river to acess to tha island and visit will be by local horse cart . After that, you go back to Amarapura to see set from the U Pain Bridge .After sun set, you go back to Mandalay and over night at Mandalay hotel.

Day 10 –Departure
After Breakfast, you check out he hotel and head to the Mandalay international airport to depart .on the way, visit the Golden monastery called Shwe Kyaung and this building is the only original palace of King Mindon, the founder of Mandalay city and Kutho Daw pagoda which is encircled with 727 marble slabs with Buddhist whole test known as biggest book in the world. After that, you head back to the airport. When you arrive at the airport, our service ends.
